The guitar is also equipped with a LR Baggs Element Active pickup system, which allows for a balanced and authentic amplified sound.

Other notable features of the National Resophonic Guitar Model 23408 include a solid mahogany bridge, a solid ebony bridge pins, and a gold-plated National Tune-o-matic tailpiece. The guitar comes with a hard-shell case to protect it during transportation and storage.
