Details:

Please look at the pictures closely. Up for sale is a 1964 Epiphone Zenith. There is no emblem because the head stock was repainted black, and Epiphone logo stamped in white paint originally instead of inlaid. I've had no problems.

The pick guard is original; its just missing its little silver e logo. This was made about six years after Gibson bought Epiphone, so this would have been in Gibson's Kalamazoo, MI factory. The case its in is a plushy Alvarez flat-top guitar case, which certainly not the right but it fit well enough that I never found replacement. Currently, it has Thomistic-Infield flat wound strings, but would sound good as well with round wound acoustic strings.

Unfortunately, the head stock suffered a break at one point before I bought it, and whoever mended it should have done better job making look pretty, but, as is, is very solid now, not felt all while playing.
