There is a bracket inside that holds the battery accessed through sound hole. The most unique feature is engraved mother of pearl and abalone mushroom inlaid at 12th fret. The guitar comes in a hard case with velvet lining, made by dart cases Vancouver, BC.

It is a small jumbo with 'age tinted' spruce top and Indian rosewood back sides, all bound in ivories red. The end pin is wired with a pickup and accepts 1/4 cable. Fox guitar.

There is very minor fret wear, and some hairline scratches to the front that are only visible in a certain light from picking. The sound of course, is fantastic.
