Review MARTIN Shenandoah 3532 Electric Acoustic Original Case
Shenandoah's have a solid spruce top and under saddle pickup. The outside shows a ton of scuffs, scrapes, minor tears and dings, patina on hinges snaps but no structural damage. Body is solid with some light scuffs and dings, it has a clear bright sound but could use new strings.
Please see photos for better idea of condition. All original Martin shenandoah D-3532 with case manufactured in the ones on back of body are hard to see but will try find an angle where I can get a good photo them.
Structurally very good. Cosmetically in good shape for its age. It includes the original Martin case.
The rest is pretty much same as a Martin d35 - 3 piece laminated rosewood back and sides bound fret board head stock veneer body front. Neck is nice and straight, with the backside showing normal handling smoothness. The interior shows quiet a bit of use but is complete and soft. Tuners are firm and tight.
There are some areas where the lacquer finish is showing fine crackling such as back and most visible being left side of head stock. It shows the expected minor scuffs and light dings but no major scratches or dents.
