These Sigma acoustics are consistently great sounding and playing guitars this one is a perfect example of that sentiment. There is a nice immediacy to the tone and projection excellent. This ones a real player with slim, flat oval neck profile and low action. Clear, bright highs with Midas that stay rich and smooth.

Mahogany neck, back and sides with a spruce top rosewood fingerboard. This Sigma is built with the good stuff. The tone is classic Martin. For reasons unknown, the Grover tunes have been painted green.

This Sigma DM1-STCE gets most of the tone and all vibe a comparable Martin acoustic for fraction cost. There is some moderate play wear in the form of dings, impressions, chips and pick marks. Play ability is an absolute breeze and perfect for the beginner who still developing their hand strength. The frets, however, show minimal wear.
