This guitar is an ideal choice for those who crave the rich, full-bodied tone of a 12-string acoustic-electric and the versatility offered by a plug-in capability. Let's dive deep into its features.

Construction and Design:

The FT-85 12-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar boasts a solid Sitka spruce top with a Scalloped Slim Taper X-braced design that delivers excellent resonance and projection. The back and sides are made of select mahogany, providing a robust and balanced tone. The guitar comes equipped with a Rosewood bridge and synthetic bone nut, enabling stable tuning and smooth string action. The chrome Grover 18:1 tuning machines are lightweight and durable. Moreover, Epiphone has thoughtfully installed a select confirmation switch for blending the sound of both the magnetic pickup and the built-in microphone, offering you the best of both worlds.

Epiphone's unique shaft pot volume and tone controls, along with the select preamp controls, are located on the electric guitar's upper bout. This ergonomic placement ensures that the controls are easily accessible yet out of the way when playing acoustically.
