It has a spruce top with maple back and sides, rosewood head stock overlay fingerboard block inlays Harmony H1310 this is very nice original vintage 1959 cutaway archtop acoustic guitar. The body is bound front and back fingerboard. It is date stamped on the inside s-59 made in USA. It plays very well and sounds great.
Frets show normal moderate wear with plenty of life and are in very good shape. There are no cracks or breaks to the body neck. The truss rod is in good working order. It appears to have been played very little and probably spent most of its time in the hard shell case.
Sold with non-original plush lined hard shell case in very good condition. This was Harmony's top of the line archtop acoustic guitar. There is a spot of finish wear on the back neck possibly from strap or case. Overall this is an amazing survivor and very nice guitar in really good shape.
The pick guard has a small hairline crack but is in good shape. The scale length is 25 width of nut neck straight with normal slight relief and nice action. Wow what a survivor. Very hard to believe this guitar is 58 years old.
Guitar is in very good clean condition with normal minor nicks and scratches but overall glossy super attractive. The string height at 12th fret top of to bottom is slightly less than original tuners are in good working order. Own a piece of history.
