The neck measures .980 to 1.020 at the 1st and 9th. It has a large shaped neck with nice shoulder, but plays comfortably the nut width . It is an X-braced guitar with a 15 1/2 lower bout, 4 1/4 body depth, 1 5/8 nut width and 25 scale length . The action is a touch high and intonation pretty close, but certainly could be improved with some work put in.
It has Deluxe strip tuners with white buttons, a screw down tortoise guard and big inlays. It has a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, neck, rosewood fingerboard bridge. It has a warm mid-range tone with good clarity, medium volume and sustain. Ships in a vintage chipboard case.
It is void of cracks or major damage though. There is checking over the surface of finish along with a number scratches and dings. This one is from the end of 50s or early 60s and in good condition overall. The guitar has a long scale and really wants to be played hard get up volume.
This one weighs 4lbs 6oz. This one has been played hard, but also survived quite well. There is buckle wear on the back of body, capo neck, and a couple large patches strum top.
