No repair work has ever been done to the guitar and it doesn't need any. The top is Angelina spruce. This guitar is no exception. The guitar of the month was really the beginnings of the second golden era of Martin guitar company.

From its engraved tuners to the binding on the fingerboard this guitar is magnificent. I have 100% feed back and am proud of it. It does have normal wear but, no issues whatsoever.
