The rosette is a colorful abalone that match the fret board markers. So small it would not photograph. Back is solid east Indian rosewood with a breathtaking grain. Let's call it medium.

Nut and saddle are both bone. Fret board and bridge are a very dark stripped ebony. I have a gorgeous size Martin stauffer up for grabs. Tuning machines work flawlessly and truss rod is fully functional.

Finish is amazing. This guitar is a real treat. This is from a limited run over 15 years ago. Neck is a low profile one piece mahogany topped with the stauffer head stock finished in satin with special stauffer open gear tuners.

This guitar shows little if any signs of play. Always kept properly humidified in smoke free home. You won't be disappointed. Comes complete with thermoplastic hard shell case.

The neck is straight and neck angle is right on. The action is set up at typical Martin factory height . The only mark I could find is the slightest pick ding right below the rosette. Don't miss out on a real beauty in phenomenal condition.

Bridge pins of buffalo horn with large abalone dots finish off the beautifully sculpted diamond bridge with stauffer point. Body is bound in torts with absolutely no signs of shrinkage. Top is solid steak spruce with beautiful sulking and slight Barclay.

Sounds is nicely balanced with the warmth that comes from having a few years to mature.
