Has a light thin french polish finish for the top and nitrocellulose lacquer back sides. Has a inch compensated bone nut with saddle and bridge pins no flute old school. The previous owner used extra light strings. Virtually no wear.

This guitar is a cannon. Comes with original cedar creek handmade custom headcase. Very loud with complex and colorful tone.

The grain is so tight in middle you can't see lines, and gets a little wider towards outside like best martin tops. Honduras rosewood is said to sound like Brazilian and, especially for classical guitar builders, the only substitute. This guitar will never need a neck reset and you can adjust the action to your liking with changes in humidity, etc. Lutz spruce is a cross of Angelina and steak very lively like Adirondack. This guitar is very responsive to the lightest touch and harder you strum it louder gets. There is very nice feathering medulla rays and some pretty bear claw in the top.

Theres virtually no limit to it. Plays and sounds fantastic. The neck angle can be adjusted with a turn of Allen screw at heel to raise or lower action while strung pitch.

The sale price was in 2012 and Reins build prices have gone up since then. This is a 2009 Thomas Rein model 5, also known as the RJN5. With a simple turn of the Allen screw. There are a few minor dings in the top and couple of small scratches, none which go through finish so is no exposed wood.
