Details:
This guitar did have a pickup installed, but it was removed by previous owner. The construction is very traditional with a steak spruce top and rosewood back sides. The neck is nice with a soft V shape at the nut and lower frets transitioning to U towards upper. This History was my first Japanese acoustic guitar purchase.
Depth - 0.83 at the 1st fret, 0.93 10th fret. And while I have plenty of great experience with the History brand electric guitars, took a leap faith that acoustic line would be similar quality. The shape is unique with the cutout giving good access to upper frets. Neck measurements are: width - 1.69 at the nut, 2.13 12th fret.
As an electric player, I find it very easy to play with a nice tone. And I'm glad I did. Includes the original branded hard shell case.
