I bought this instead of the ooo-28 because it sounded better. From Martin:carrying a distinct vintage-inspired design and updated in 2014 like the d-18 few years ago, re designed Martin offers many of features found Martins pre-war era Guitars. Save lots of money as the new ones are more than 600 expensive. Set up for low action.

To my ears the mahogany back and sides were clearer more balanced sound. Really, if you love Martins or always wanted a Martin this is the one to buy. The, which has a beautiful aging toned top in steak spruce, is married with solid mahogany back and sides.

Purchased new in 2017 and kept safe humidified its original case. Ebony fret board and bridge. The body is edged with tortoise binding and complemented a polished finish short scale model's neck features modified low oval profile performing artist taper, width of at nut string spacing for easy play ability.
