The finish is full of texture and artifacts, the overall very cloudy most gloss gone. This guitar could use a good deep cleaning as well while the structural repairs are being performed. This guitar is being sold as a PROJECT and while its currently in playable condition, it needs some work from Luther before ready for everyday usage. Otherwise, this guitar is in fair condition, but has been played heavily.
The finish is also worn through on the back of neck near nut. Fret wear, This guitar has some moderate wear on the first few frets, but plays great. One of the seams on three piece back is opened entire length . There are also many bumps, scrapes, scratches, dents and dings in the finish all over instrument, along with some scratches on pick guard tarnishing hardware.
Frets and fingerboard could use quick cleanup during the next restring. The case is a little beat up from years of use, but still in solid condition. Action, Action is medium and plays great, but may require a quick tweak to your liking. Case, Original Martin hard shell case included.
There are no cleats visible on the inside to point towards an attempted repair, but there is some type of white substance coming from seam that's guitar its not apparent if glue as theres residue body itself. However, the crack is still open, with one side sitting higher than other, and seam does not close up all way if you push on area. Electronics, All electronics are original and work properly. Its possible that the bridge and pick guard have been regaled at some point, as there are scratches around each area don't seem to be playing wear.
The binding is currently loose from the body in many places, and has previously been glued a few other spots as evidenced by some glue squeeze-out residue on top of finish.
