The neck is made of mahogany, and it includes a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and pearloid dot inlays. The guitar's total length is 25.5 inches, with a string scale length of 24.75 inches.

For enhanced playability and accuracy, the PR-775S includes a synthetic bone nut and a synthetic saddle, which provide proper intonation and sustain. Additionally, the guitar's high-quality chrome die-cast tuning machines ensure that the guitar remains in tune, even during prolonged playing sessions.

The Epiphone PR-775S is equipped with ESP-6BT electronics, a premier pickup system designed to capture every detail of the guitar's sound. It includes a built-in 2-band EQ and a built-in chromatic tuner, providing an intuitive and user-friendly interface for controlling your sound onstage or in the studio. Moreover, the ESP-6BT system includes a 9V battery compartment that is easily accessible through the soundhole.

Pros and Cons of Buying an Epiphone PRO-1 Acoustic Guitar with PR-765S Pickup System

The Epiphone PRO-1 Acoustic Guitar equipped with the PR-765S pickup system is an affordable option for guitarists seeking to incorporate amplified performances into their repertoire. In this analysis, we will assess the benefits and drawbacks of purchasing this guitar model.

Pros:

1. Affordable: The Epiphone PRO-1 Acoustic Guitar offers excellent value for the price, making it an attractive option for beginners or those on a budget.

2. Versatile: With the PR-765S pickup system, this guitar provides the ability to perform both acoustically and electrically, catering to various performance situations.

3. Solid Construction: Featuring a select spruce top, mahogany body, and a "SlimTaper" D-shaped neck, the PRO-1 offers a durable and comfortable playing experience.

4. Easy Set Up: This guitar comes semi-literally setup from the factory and can be an excellent choice for players who don't have the means or knowledge to set up their instruments.

5. Good Electronic Tone: The PR-765S pickup system produces a warm, balanced tone that can help guitarists to project their sound effectively in live settings.

Cons:

1. Action may need adjustment: Some customers have reported that the guitar may require additional adjustments to the truss rod or the action to achieve optimal playability.

2. Intonation issues: Since the PR-765S is a factory-installed pickup system, achieving ideal intonation across all six strings might be tricky, which could require professional assistance.

3. Tone may not appeal to everyone: While the PR-765S pickup system delivers a good tone, some musicians may prefer the sound of different pickups, ultimately influencing their preference.

4. Limited versatility for advanced players: While the PRO-1 offers a reasonably good plug-in sound, players seeking more advanced tonal options and onboard EQ/preamp controls might desire a more sophisticated pickup system.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, the Epiphone PRO-1 Acoustic Guitar with PR-765S pickup system is a cost-effective choice for players seeking to perform acoustically and electrically, with solid construction, comfortable playability, and ease of use being some of its main strengths. However, potential drawbacks like action and intonation adjustments and limited versatility might be worth considering before making a decision. It is highly recommended for beginners, hobbyists, or budget-conscious musicians looking to embark on amplified performances without investing heavily initially. If you demand improved tone customization or are an advanced player, this guitar might not be the best choice for you.
