The Ros-A3M recording parlor acoustic guitar from Recording King is an outstanding addition to any musician's collection. This guitar is not only known for its classic, elegant appearance, but also for its high-quality sound and playability. Ever since the early 1900s, Recording King has been celebrated for producing instruments that bring authentic, traditional acoustic tones to life. With the Ros-A3M, this legacy continues with a modern twist.
Crafted with solid mahogany back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top, this guitar boasts a rich, resonant tone. The top features a scalloped bracing pattern, which enhances the instrument's projection, adding body and depth to its sound. The 24.75-inch scale length provides a comfortable playing experience, while the 1.69-inch nut width ensures smooth transitions between chords.
The Ros-A3M's body dimensions are reminiscent of those found on traditional parlor guitars. Its compact size makes it an ideal choice for players with smaller frames or those seeking a more portable alternative to a larger dreadnought body. The guitar's box shape also tends to produce a warmer, more focused tone, contributing to a more intimate and nuanced sound.
Adding to the guitar's appeal are its high-quality hardware components. The chrome die-cast tuning machines ensure accurate and stable tuning and allow for quick tuning adjustments as needed. The guitar is adorned with a bound rosewood fingerboard and bridge, which not only enhance the instrument's visual appeal but also contribute to its resonance.
The Ros-A3M recording parlor acoustic guitar comes with Recording King's included LR Baggs Element pickup system, perfect for live performances and recordings. This system features a sensitivity control for optimal sound capture and an internal 9V battery compartment, providing a convenient, streamlined design. With its robust pickup system, this guitar is truly versatile and suitable for a wide range of musical applications.
Furthermore, the guitar's satin finish allows for a comfortable and slip-resistant grip, reducing the risk of slipping during performances. This finish also enhances the natural beauty of the guitar's wood grain. Other notable features include a labour-intensive, multi-step process for sealing and polishing the finish, a tortoiseshell pickguard, and a treble-bleed volume control that maintains a clear treble tone when the volume is turned down.
In summary, the Ros-A3M recording parlor acoustic guitar from Recording King is an exceptional instrument, beautifully designed and crafted with premium materials and a focus on delivering an authentic, high-quality tone. Suitable for players of all skill levels, it offers a comfortable and versatile playing experience, making it an invaluable addition to any musician's collection.

Cons:1. Limited Fingerboard Radius: The ROS-A3M's 12-inch fingerboard radius might not be ideal for players who prefer a flatter or more curved fingerboard.

Solid spruce top mahogany back and sides thin profile mahogany neck 25. The stand is there only for photos and no case.
You can not feel it and I could open the crack with pressure. I have photographed this blemish. Sorry but every shipper I use manages to damage the guitar when ship from NC.
The 'crack' is so tight that I could not even wick finish into crack.
I ship only to the lower 45 states. 4 scale length ultra thin finish.
The guitar is easy to play and has a good 'punch' for parlor sized. So other that the 'look' this is a new, pristine guitar. Here is a Recording King ROS-A3M acoustic parlor guitar.
