Richard was the one who actually built the prototypes after all the twas done by Sasha and another Gibson executive that was involved with the mk series. When it comes to , rarely, but occasionally simple human error yields mistakes. The neck is made of curly maple with translucent abalone inlays. It does not need a neck adjustment.

Ebony and silver surround the sound hole unlike the Gibson mark series Guitars that later went into production that had plastic around the sound hole. Trying to find the Gibson mks like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

It's in excellent condition and has spent most of its life in a case. This instrument was built as a top of the line Gibson prototype personally built by richard. Michael Sasha built the mark series Guitars but it was actually richard schneider.
