Here we discuss the advantages and disadvantages of owning a Teisco Tempo Bass HS Case.
Pros:1. Protection: The primary purpose of a guitar case is to provide protection, and the Teisco Tempo Bass HS Case does that effectively. Its hardshell design shields the guitar from external impacts and scratches.
2. Durability: Hardshell cases are generally more durable than soft cases. They can withstand rough handling and harsher environments, making them suitable for musicians who travel frequently or have impact-prone situations.
3. Organization: The case offers a pocket for storing various accessories and small items, keeping them easily accessible and preventing clutter.
4. Travel-Friendly: The lightweight design and sturdy construction make the Teisco Tempo Bass HS Case convenient for travel. It can be carried comfortably using its carry handles or worn as a backpack due to its presence of backpack straps.

Cons:1. Price: The Teisco Tempo Bass HS Case is priced slightly higher compared to other stock hardshell cases in the market. This could be a deterrent for budget-conscious individuals.
2. Size: The Teisco Tempo Bass HS Case might not fit other bass guitars, as it's specifically designed for the Teisco Tempo Bass. This means, in case of an upgrade or borrowing another musician's bass, you'd have to look for a new case.
3. Weight: The Teisco Tempo Bass HS Case weighs more than soft cases due to its hardshell construction. Although it's not significantly heavy, some musicians may find it an added inconvenience.
Conclusion:The Teisco Tempo Bass HS Case's benefits, such as reliable protection, durability, organization, travel-friendliness, and attractive design, often outweigh the drawbacks, such as a higher price point, limited compatibility with other bass guitars, and increased weight. If prioritizing these features for your Teisco Tempo Bass, it's a solid investment to ensure the instrument's longevity. Otherwise, a less expensive softshell or stock case may also suffice.
Recommendation:The Teisco Tempo Bass HS Case is a worthwhile investment for those musicians who gig frequently, value strong protection, and want ample organization and easy portability. However, for casual home players, a less expensive softshell case could suffice. Consider the level of dedication to the instrument, budget, and personal playing style to determine the optimal case choice.
The baseball bat neck has been shaved down: 22mm thick at nut, to 25mm heal or 13th fret. All the original parts are included with it if one would like to put back its configuration. The outside has typical ware with no rips or tears. Regarding the hard shell case, inside is in great condition.
The neck is 42. I'm not sure what the issue is.
Massive output. This seems to be a design flaw, because the strings were way close bridge pickup causing hit cover. The hinges are a bit loose, but case is in good condition overall. The original bridge has been replaced with an allparts fender style.
It is now possible to intimate the bass. As you can see in the pictures, a shorter cover fixed that problem. The neck pickup works perfectly. The bridge pickup works but is lacking output.
6mm wide at the nut and mm 20th last fret, resulting in a profile similar is to jazz bass thickness, but p-bass width . Huge low end. Feel free to contact me with any questions. The bridge pickup cover was taller than neck position.
