Macassar is very tough and hard to machine so few examples exist. In the 70s they begin producing guitars for US market Gibson, Martin, Greats and many others. It features Macassar ebony sides and book matched back with deep swirling grain. There are a few scratches and small chip in the head stock.

The abalone cap on the neck joint fell off. This guitar ended up in Australia where I bought it 1997. In the late 70s owner Harrow Terada oversaw limited production of high end guitars with luxury finishes and appointments. Terada has crafted musical instruments since 1912.
